Lived-In Color

LIVED IN COLOR

What is Lived-In-Color?

Lived-In-Color is a low maintenance highlighting technique designed to grow out beautifully removing harsh lines or obvious regrowth. Unlike traditional highlights that require frequent touch ups, this technique allows you to extend the life of your color and see me less often.

With so many terms out there- teasylights, babylights, money piece and balayage- it's easy to get confused! All of those are different techniques used to achieve the perfect Lived-In-Color.

After a thorough consultation to understand your hair goals, I'll personalize a unique color experience tailored just for you. This may include one or all of these techniques.

  • Babylights- very fine blended highlights for a more natural look.

  • Hand Painted Balayage- natural sun kissed highlights that are painted on free hand.

  • Balayage In Foil- painted highlights in foil to allow and maximize brightness and lift.

  • Teasylights- Sections of hair are teased at the root to create a softly blended look with natural dimension.

  • Money Piece- Strategic face-framing highlight placed around the front of your hair designed to brighten your complexion and make your whole entire color pop.

Is Lived-In-Color Right For Me?

Lived-In-Color works for almost everyone! Whether you're blonde, brunette, or somewhere in between, I customize a technique to match your hair texture, lifestyle, and desired level of brightness.

You will love lived in color if:

  • You're Busy (moms, professionals, or anyone who doesn't want to visit the salon frequently.)

  • On A Budget (getting your hair done can be expensive. This allows for more time between visits, while still having beautiful hair.

  • You want natural-looking dimension and grow out (no harsh lines, or stark contrast.Lived-In-Color allows you to have soft blended dimension so you can enjoy beautiful effortless hair.)

Pro Tip For Lived-In-Color Guests:

To keep your color looking fresh and your hair healthy, regular trims are key. Most of my Lived-In-Color guests come in every 6-8 weeks for a refresh. This would include a gloss (as it fades over time) and a trim, refreshing the color so it looks like you just had it done.
